The Vintage Style has born in France and quickly spread over many areas – music, fashion and interior design. The general rule is something antique is also vintage, but something vintage is not necessary antique. Vintage refers to something that is from an earlier generation. Antique refers to something that is over 100 years old. An item should at least 100 years old to be defined as an antique but not less than 20 years, it falls under the term vintage.
All Déco Objects from LittleFrenchCorner falling in the vintage category are at least 20 years old. We source from flea markets, brocantes, private houses. When available, a detailed description of the object will inform about the manufacturer, the region or town of origin, history of the manufacturer. Some vintage items might have minor scratches or slightly altered (mentioned in description where applicable), this gives to the déco object its original value and history.
